She specialises in transforming origin-based trading activity into disciplined, bankable international businesses — combining commercial strategy with P&L ownership, trade finance, execution, risk management and governance, with a focus on building platforms that scale sustainably and remain aligned with banking and capital requirements.
Her experience spans grains, fertilisers, oilseeds, edible oils and soft commodities, with regional operating platforms and end-to-end trade workflows developed across both origin and destination markets. She has built extensive relationships with producers, international buyers, financial institutions and strategic partners across multiple markets.
Waheed Adebowale Oduwoye, known as Wale, is Chairman of WALAM Global and Founder of the WAKMAN Golden Heritage Group, which he established over 20 years ago.
Under his leadership, the Group has grown into a well-recognised name in the cocoa, raw cashew nut, sesame and soybean markets, building a reputation for reliable origination and consistent quality across West Africa.
Wale's focus has been on building long-term relationships with producers and international buyers, developing the market knowledge and infrastructure that underpin the Group's operating platform today.
